I haven't. I asked and was told that any suggested launch date was not set in sand as it depended on many factors, tests in other markets and the partnership with the service provider etc etc
Thanks Darren - I'll keep watching this space. _________________ TomTom GO720 and TomTom GO750

Does anyone know if its cable can be spliced into the existing desk charger which also has a mini-USB? I ask because I actually use the desk charger on my car's dashboard which looks fantastic and as if it is part of the car. (I have one of those USB-Cigar Charger adapters.)
Or perhaps I could go like this:
HD Mini-USB {Adapter} USB on Desk Cradle ? _________________ CJSnet

His advice was to take it back to the shop and see what happens, Tried that it's out of the refund period(14 days) they will replace it or repair it(chocolate teapot syndrome) but they were scepical of my reasons because:
A. TT still sell the RDS TMC most companys remove faulty items from sale
B. TT have not recalled any units!
C. TT mention nothing on there web site!
D. The chain (well known office suppliers) have had NONE back!
Now has the UK HD Traffic been delayed because it DON'T work, could it use the base TMC data! or am i being too scaptical here!
This stuff from the retailers REALLY annoys me, and I don't understand why people let them get away with it.
14 days means nothing. In the UK you have a right to reject a device that is not fit for purpose "within a reasonable time", and the retailers cannot override that with terms and conditions.
If, as happened to me, it takes TT months to sort out an issue with TMC, and then they fail to do so, it's obviously not reasonable to expect that you could have known all that within 14 days (28 days according to TT), so you can still reject it.
14 days etc applies only to discretionary returns - those where you decide to take it back because YOU made a mistake, not when the device is faulty or not fit or not of merchantable quality.
As a result I got a FULL refund on my Go 710 and ALL accessories after it was 7 months old, on the basis that I'd been sold something that worked with TMC, yet didn't.
TT have today told me that they're testing the HD reciever for the ?30 series with 250 users, but that it won't be available for "a few months". They've also removed it from here, which at the beginning of November did list it. It's beginning to look like it's time to get a refund on the 730 too, which was sold as "HD Ready".
