wont switch off

hello been using a 910 for a while now but after searching some cupboards i found my old ttt one so i updated software on tomtom site switched on ;;no maps found so i backed up all works exept for one small prob ..when i press off button it goes into warning screen the one where it indicates to place in your bag then it goes off but ... it comes back on again!! only if i remove sd card will it go off any help please

yep that seems to have done it thanks oh 1 more thing i downloaded ogg files for camera warnings [its been a long time since i used the data chk method] .the sequence i get is..add warnings ,,do you want to deleate warning i say no then distance then only on route i say no then thats it but still ;cow nad bugle sounds; any help thanks

I've had this happen to me and the only solution aside from the reset was to clear route, bizarrely this always worked.
