nuvi 760t text messages problem

Hi,

I have deleted all my text messages on my mobile phone.
but they are still on the sat nav? and now whenever i receive a new text message, the sat nav locks up and i have to restart it.

I hope somebody will be able to help me.

I did what you said but text messages are still on the garmin?
have you got any other suggestions?
