Navigo SY-885 & Tomtom postcodes

I have just got a navigo SY-885 from ebuyer and read that tomtom 6 can be put on it without messing about with the registry (or very little messing with it)

I managed to get the files off my medion pda and got it on a sd card along with a uk map. the tomtom works fine, but i cant get the postcode search working at all. i select navigate to - address - postcode and then i only have the option to select the first 4 digits. i have tried copying the zip folder (which contains the files i need) from the pda to almost every location on the navigo and i still only get a 4 digit search. any advice?

i may have not copied across everything i need from the pda or done something else wrong. i have a tomtom 6 cd/dvd but there is no way to install the software directly to the navigo. is there any way to manually extract the files i need from the cd directly to the sd card?

Something you could try, with the Zip Folder, is to put it in the same location as the Map Folder. Usually the Root of the SD Card.

Then in the same place create a new Folder, and call it TomTom. No need to put anything in it.
