Hey,

Is it possible to just install all the POI's onto my tomtom one?

Not sure which i'll need when i'm out thought it would be easier than deciding which ones.

Assuming you are using version 7 software on the the TT One then you have a limit of 100 custom POI categories.
Each single POI category can contain thousands of individual locations, but if you stray over the 100 category limit the device will behave in an upredictable way with respect to POI files (some will disapear but you don't choose which ones).
Be selective in your choice and use the "Combine SubCats" option to reduce the actual total number of categories employed on the device - Mike

Well, if you were to have each category combined, instead of individual groups within them, maybe you could. I don't know what the limit is on your device, might be 30, might be 100, might be 300. If it's 30, you've already used that up if you use the speed zoned camera download. If the limit is 100, there are 37 categories. But if you have each category as separate groups within (e.g. Accommodation has about 47 different hotel etc groups), you'll be in trouble. Be aware that when you overload the TomTom, it doesn't throw up it's hands and shout HELP. It simply doesn't bother showing you whatever is over the limit. AND it decides for itself what not to show - it's not necessarily "first in, last out".

Anyway, you don't want them all. I mean, you've got to be pretty eclectic to need to find Lifeboat Stations, Dr Who Film Locations and Tropical Fish Shops. Maybe you are pretty eclectic? But not everything is covered - I'm not in the Couriers section. Crying or Very sad

Uh-oh Lightning typist MikeAlder beats me to the jump again. Evil or Very Mad

That's all very well, Andy, but you're eclectic. Not everybody else is. Very Happy
