Updating all maps on a 920

Hi,
I'm thinking about getting a 920, however I have a question regarding map updates. If in the future I updated the europe map would I also need to update the USA map? If I didn't update the USA map would it become unusable if TT had also updated their software to the next version?

Did anything like this happen with the 910 when V7 was released? Did users have to update both sets of maps?

No.

The maps are separate entities. You can do what you like with one and it will not affect the other.

I've still got the North America V650 Map, with the W&C Europe V710, and using V7.162 Application. All runs OK.
