It's all ended in tears, The 1m piece of string broke sending the cheese off it's central axis and carrering into the tea tent. The last i saw of it was on top of the toast being sold there. The sponge which somehow absorbed the inertia of the string breaking carried on it's assumed route closely followed by the tumbling me. At the bottom of the incline, whilst still horizontal to the road level i noticed my knee's were scraped. This is where the sponge is useful as it was used to administer disinfectant.to the wounded area.
In summary i feel the cheese need's to be of the Italian Hard variety, perhaps parmesan as i don't think the sidewall of the block will become stressed under load.

Maybe you cauld modify it by fitting a (CHEDDAR speed exhaust) with a (EXTRA MATURE induction kit) and a (GLOUSTER body kit) and fit a set of (195/55/15 EDAM rated tyres) to finish it off. _________________ NEW Tomtom GO 500 (hope it is good)
iphone (running all day, doesn't like it)
XL LIVE IQ Routes (Got stolen and miss it)
GO 510 (in drawer now, time for upgrade)
Thank you for your kind advice Ian.
I followed your modification programme and took the "big Cheese" to the test track for data testing and relatives to velocity.
All appeared to be in order until we hit 216mph, a big red cross appeared on the TomTom and then the cheese started to fly off in all directions, resulting in a pile of melted mass.
If you could advise on ways of dissipating the heat from the wheels and cheese tyres, as i feel this is where the problem lies, then we could have a winner.
Lewis hamilton at present refuses to test drive the "big cheese" something to do with the angle of the cheese based recaro and the smell it leaves on his race suit.
I managed to get over the string problem by useing a bit of old fishing line. 10lb breaking strain.

Would fromage frais work??...or that mascaponi stuff?
I'm off to Gstaad this weekend, perhaps the fondou restraunt 'fromagerie' (that we HAVE to go to) could utilise the above method...instead of the huge pot. Also, does the above method get rid of the smell of honk, often associated with cheese fondou?
