Western Europe Map vs. Individual Country Map

Posted this question on another forum but someone there suggested I post here. I live in the States and have a TomTom One LE with U.S. maps and I'll be traveling to Spain in March so I was going to purchase a map to use while I'm there. It looks like if you go through the TomTom Home software to purchase the maps the prices are not too bad (e.g. 39.95 euros for a map of Spain or 49.95 for a map of Western Europe). My question is this: is the individual map of Spain any different (i.e. better) than the map of Spain contained within the Western Europe map download or are they identical? If they are identical then I guess the Europe map would be the better value, but I want to make sure that I wouldn't be getting a less helpful map of Spain if I go this route (no pun intended). Thanks.

The road data will be the same, but in the Western Europe Map they have compressed the 'scenery data' to make it fit into 1GB. Things like rivers and woods, so that the side detail is ..... well, not so detailed.

In PDA version using 6 series maps calculation times are much, much quicker for individual country maps with major roads of europe than for the large western europe map. I would imagine it's the case for GO devices as well.
