|
|
Hi,
I have just transferred the files from my existing Go 710 to a new 2GB SD Card. The files seem to have moved over ok, but as I am trying to set up, I am getting a message that the map has not been activated and that should contact TT to get an activation code.
I have tried using the code that was initially supplied with the sytem and I'm now getting the message...."Sorry, this is not the correct activation code for the product Western_Europe"
Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks
Geoff |

Yes you are, there is a page at TomTomwhere you type in the product code which you have, then type in the device code that is on your TT then TT give you an activation code. If you give me 10 mi nutes i will get it for you or if someone else knows it thet will post it for you. _________________ NEW Tomtom GO 500 (hope it is good)

I would try the Flash tool first, if you have copied the map files in total to the SD card and put them in a folder with the exact name they were in before the device should pick the map up and use it with the same codes as previously used - Mike |
