Copilot 7 GPS Receiver Probs

Hi all,

I have just upgraded to copilot 7 from 6, i'm using a hp ipaq 4700 and an rikaline 6033 gps receiver, which has all the settings needed to connect to copilot 7, but copilot finds receiver and says install successfully but its not, its not showing any satelites so its not talking to my receiver, i have also tried the copilot gps receiver supplied with copilot 5 and have the same probs, i have tried install receiver though the bluetooth manger in windows mobile 5 also with no joy, i have rang ALK and they cant reproduce prob, i cant go back to 6 either, as i ve registrered 7, so i have no gps and im a lorry driver, any help much appreciated.

I had a similar problem with CP7 on my HX4700 with a Navman BT Reciever....
Basically you'll need to manually set up your relationship and get it started prior to firing up CP7 and manually configuring the connection settings,the Auto ones won't work............
