I know, because for the 720 and 920 I've RTFM-ed - the very first M I've RTF-ed since the Lotus 123 manual for release 2.01 of 22 years ago (1986). I have found a significant difference between the usefulness of the two. |
Forgive me butting in, but as a young whipper-snapper of just gone 35 now, I harken back to the talk of Lotus 123.
And have to confess, going OT, that I found it's clone, EasyCalc, to be an easier tool to get to grips with as a young kid fresh out of school, teaching IT to Youth Training students, and Women Returners on ET schemes, because of the erm, slimmer manual....
Me being one of those, pick it up and use it, ignore the manual kind of people.
But I recall that the Lotus manual was not a manual at all - it was THREE separate lengthy volumes, for the first version I ever used.
Now compare that to today's "view it on the pc, two pages long" fare that seems to be the norm now.
I concur whole-heartedly with you Dennis! |
