I am using the above unit with TT2 software and have downloaded all the updates.

My job involves visiting clients in their homes, whilst it is not bad my bluuetooth gps unit is a little out(20-30 yards) when it says that you have arrived at your destination having programed the house number. I am not sure if it is that TT2 software or the GPS Unit.

A friend of mine has is using a new rekaline GPS unit with his TT2 software and says that we he has reached his destination he is dead outside the house. He says that this is because it has the new chipset?

Does any body elsehave similar experiences? Is it work changing my GPS unit to say a fortune clip on?

Other than the house numbers the GPS unit is 100% accurate.

Any feedback or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

TomTom doesn't actually know the house numbers. It only knows the house number range for any given part of the street. So when the range is 45 to 95 and you are looking for 55 then TomTom assumes it is somewhere at the beginning of that street part.

Your friend probably just got lucky to live the the beginning or end of such a street part.

20 yards is actually very good. Remember, the overall GPS accuracy is between 15 and 25 yards (unless you use differential GPS).

So - just be happy with your setup.
