Hi
I just bought the Hollux GR-230 for use with my P900. Does any one know if this GPS works with Wayfinder?
So far I have it working with power navigator, but have for some reason not gotten it to work with MONAS yet. I'm therefore a bit usure about shelling out £160 for some software that I might not get to work.
Thanks

I dont have a Holux to test with, but I have tested with a large number of BT GPS devices and have not had any failures with any of them.
If you can connect and use your BT GPS then Wayfinder will work for you. _________________ Mike Barrett

Yes it should work, you need to set the baud rate to the same that the GPS is using, the default is 9600 NMEA but you may find you have switched this so connecting it to a PC or Pocket PC might be the best bet to verify the settings. |

Bought it, tried it, works like a charm.
Two gripes, Volume a bit low, (Has been mentioned a couple of times) and I can't seem to select a point on a map, (either on the phone or via web) and set that point as a favourite or a destination. Sometimes somwhat impractical if I know where on a map I,m going, but cant get wayfinder to find the exact spot via serching for company or street name.
Other than that, I'm happy. (Until the GPRS bill comes through propably :-) |
