Hi
I'm new to all this so please excuse the noob style question. 
I have just downloaded the latest updates from TT Home and my unit is now flashing up "UNABLE TO STORE SETTINGS: FILE ACCESS ERROR" in the top right corner of the screen at occasional intervals. Does anyone know if there is a glitch in the lastest update or has my unit screwed up?
BTW i've done a system restore to my old backup to see if it clears it but it's had no change.

Hi, You could try a re-set, press the re-set button underneath, for 30 seconds, then release, and let us know if it worked, also tell us what TomTom etc you have, might be usefull to know, . If you are using an SD card, is it locked, the little tab/switch thing on the side of the card.

I might be of the mark here but if all else fails and the problem persists you could try and run the Clear Flash tool.

I have the V2 TT One.
I just tried the 30 second reset but that hasn't worked either.
Where can i find this Clear Flash tool??

Don't keep us in suspence, did the flash tool sort it?

Tomtom also suggest using the disc error check/fix in windows which worked for me:
Plug in your tomtom, right click your tomtom in 'my computer' then, properties, tools, check now, tick both boxes then go. Can take upto 45 mins with the 910.
