***traffic connection probs***

hi all
tomtom ONE europe v2
all was fine till i upgraded my phone from a nokia 6280 to a nokia 6300. this model is not listed on the database in my unit but was recognised by it during pairing.
kept getting the message that my tomtom trafffic subscription had expired. emailed tomtom to be told it does not expire for another month and they have reset my account.
tried to connect again and now coming up with error message and comment that my trial subscription has ended???
how do i set this up correctly. i have tried going through the auto routine on my unit and all seems correct but it wont connect.
as a side issue, i now cannot get rid of the blue traffic bar to the right of my screen as when i try to, it goes thru the setup routine each time (unsuccessfully).
tomtom support is rubbish, so i am hoping that some kind / knowledgeable soul here will be able to help me. maybe i need to input some manual settings, i just don't know????
