is there anyway u can delete some of them?
i prefer the ones off here there a lot more upto date!
the tomtom police stations have my 2 local police stations as
brownley road
and
hall lane
they have both been closed for at least 2 years! and the new one is not even on there
i have done a search but can not find any info, |

Afraid the ones supplied by TomTom are all stored in a single file in the map folder, called "poi.dat".
You can delete that file and get rid of all of them, but you cannot easily edit it or remove just some categories.
If you have v7 software and maps you can correct your local ones using Map Share, or if you want to append the ones from here so they show in the same category as the built in ones, you can use a trick I discovered, described HERE |

You can edit the poi & added the new poi through the map correction part of mapshare. _________________ TT 500
