TomTom Go 700 - problem with auto shut off

Since I did the last software update (to version 7.162) my TomTom Go 700 refuses to switch off automatically as it did before the update.
(It switches on automatically when the ignition is switched on but refuses to die when tyhe ignition is switched off)

Has anyone else found this and, if they have, how did they get rid of this fault?

Have a lokk through your Change Preferences to see if you now have Battery Saving Preferences (new with App7.xxx) and in the second screen thereof tick "Switch off when external power is lost"
