I see there is a major change for my TTG 910 which is navcore 7 something and I am running on 6.525 (I think these are the same thing right ?) But when I click on download updates when my tomtom home is switched on it only offeres me 6.525 which is the one I already have.
If I do update to navcore 7 and get problems can I go back to the old one ? Is it necessary to have nvcore 7 to be able to get new maps ? I have maps version 6.02 and I know there is 7.10 available. Is it a coicendence that the numbers for the namcore and the maps are similiar ?
I am so confused and hope someone can explain this better to me.
cheers,
Jo |

Your are right, if you want the v7.xx maps you will have to be running version 7.xx program but if you back-up first and you go-ahead and make changes you dont like then just re-store your back-up and everything will go back to the way it was. _________________ NEW Tomtom GO 500 (hope it is good)

It's not a coincidence that the map and software numbers are *similar*, as they are both "version 7", but it IS a coincidence if they are *the same* at any point. |

neither of these update are showing up when I connect my tomtom and log in. Do I need the new version of tomtom home for them to show up (I have 1.5) or is this not relevant ?

Yes you will have to install Home v2.1.2.121 which is the latest version to be able to recieve the latest updates. The screen is different the way it is set out but to be honest it does the same things exept when you back-up you only make one back-up, every back-up overwrites the last back-up unless you put them in different folders. _________________ NEW Tomtom GO 500 (hope it is good)
