GPS UTILITY

Hi i have a HP rz1710 pda which had via michelin installed on it. I have not used it for some time now and where the battery went flat it has now lost the programme. I have purchased TomTom 5 on an sd card but it will not work in the Kirrio cradle,does the pda req the gps utility programme to be still installed

Not sure abut the Kirrio cradle - but when you lost battery power then you will have lost ALL installed s/w so perhaps there was s/w to support this cradle? It's a sin to let the battery run down on your PDA - unless you have one of the newer types that don't loose the installed s/w (just any temp data that may be in RAM). Always take a full backup of your PDA regularly - that way you can recover from this situation fairly easily.

Thought I would find out about the cradle!
