Simple question that I can't find an answer to elsewhere.

I did a map correction to add my street which is about 1 yr old, it duely submitted it.

I have tried with the preferences "only my corrections" and numerous other combinations but the correction is refusing to show up on my maps.

Can I assume that this type of update isn't stored -even if its for you own use !

(As I live at the end of this road I wanted to set my home location at the end rather than the nearest main road.)

You're correct.
ONLY the corrections that you can choose on the FIRST page of Map Corrections (un/block road, change street name etc) will ever show on your map (or anyone else's) via Mapshare.

All the rest are just reported to them (just like in the old days), so that they MIGHT add them to a new map for you to BUY.

None of the updates I've submitted from my v705 maps via Mapshare over the last 5-6 months have made it onto a v710 map downloaded a couple of days ago.

(Incidentally, there's a similar post HERE, and there's another one about new roundabouts somewhere)
Basically, Mapshare as it is implemented at the moment, does not live up to the marketing hype at all.
