Hi!

I am new at this great forum. (read for a while, but this is my first post)

My problem is that I have Qtek s200 (Prophet) and I tried TT6 with friends BT GPS reciver. It worked like charm. I was so thrilled so I bought one for myself at once. But I noticed that TT6 with new GPS wasn't so "qucik" as it was with my freinds gps. It was "late" 10-20 meters and updated wery slowly when I was turning on the new road.

I did some research and only difference I could find is that my friends GPS is SirfIII and mine is Skytraq (Holox BT-541).

As I am new in this gps area I am wondering is that cause of my "problem"?
Could it be fixed if something other is problem eg, boudreate is wrong or simmilar...

I have to tell you that I am satisfied with other aspects of mine BT-541 such as battery time, sensitivity (indoor reciveing), Smart power managment with Vibration sensor.

Tnx in advance!
Greetings rom Sweden

Welcome to the forum, just a thought but have you put any POI files into your map folder? if so please go to Change Preferences/ Enable_Disable POI and de-select all that are ticked, use the Change Preferences/ Manage POI/ Warn When Near POI function instead for POI notifications as this takes up less processor resource. You will find the above will then speed up the display considerably, it will not be the GPS that is causing the position lag on the device - Mike

Hi Mike!

Tnx for your answer I will try that.

The thing is that I tried the other night with my friend GPS (Sirf III he got it from wayfinder.com) again with my recent configuration (yes, speed camera files is on) and it was significantly better.

I'll try and I'll post my findings here.

Tnx
