Nuvi Backup

Hi All,

How exactly can you backup all of your settings on the Nuvi. I've just upgraded the firmware, and yet again after upgrading it crashed requiring a hard reset, which means I've lost all my preferences, and favs.

You can backup your favs using Easy GPS

It's worth doing a FULL backup of everything occasionally - it can take about 30 mins (on my 660).

Just connect the nuvi in PC mode. Open up the NUVI "drive", ensure the Windows File Explorer option is set to show hidden files (there's one on the 660) then copy and paste everything from the nuvi to a folder on your PC. Then (depending on your paranoia level) burn it to CD
