I’ve had the Fortuna Clip-On BT GPS for one week now and I’m pretty pleased with it. One thing that’s bothering me is the battery doesn’t keep its charge.

When I first had it, I put it on charge and it took 2.5 hours until the green light came on. I’ve used it a few times (for an hour or so). I then switched it off and the next day it was dead. I charged it up again, still 2.5 hours to become fully charged I left it off for 18 hours and when I switched it on, the battery indicator was red.

Last night I left it on charge over night (eight hours) and I’m currently trying it again.

Has anybody else experienced the same problem?
Does the battery need several cycles of charging and discharging before I see the expected run times?
Should I install a “proper” Nokia battery?

Regards,

There was another thread about this some time back. Mine sometimes refuses to charge (or keep its charge). Trouble is I don't know if my powered car mount is faulty or not due to the Clipon behaviour.

Strange - sometimes it just works OK.
