TOM TOM GO 520 BLUETOOTH PROBLEMS

Hi, ive recently bought a tt 520 and everything on it seems to work fine except when i get a text message sent to my phone well its connected to the tt i never recieve it. if i get a phone call thats fine and i can make calls from the tt its just the messaging part im having problems with. I cant send messages from it either Crying or Very sad

I have a friend with the exact same tt and he can send & recieve texts on his fine. (he has a sony ericson) Could it be a problem with my phone? its a nokia 6300. my partner has the same phone but his does'nt work either.

Sorry to say, the Nokia 6300 isn't on TomTom's compatibility list HERE

They say on that page "The listed devices have been tested by TomTom. It might be possible to use many other devices. However, TomTom can't guarantee or support compatibility with any unlisted device."

As you can see on that chart, even quite a few phones that ARE on the list can only be used for calls, not messages.

.....and on this point then, would you say that, with the next "wave" of mobile phones, we will all see a more comprehensive compatability with all of the bluetooth fetures? I mean, my Sony E K800i reads incoming text messages some of the time but not all of the time! The hands free calling/receiving works some of the time but not all of the time!! Either work or don't work!!

I hve a Tomtom GO 520 and a Nokia 6822 and when I make a call people say they can hardly hear me and that they can hear a terrible buzzing sound, that is with the fm radio off. The messaging side and every thing else works fine. Anybody got a solution to this problem? .

Return it to your supplier for a replacement.
