WIN CE Default Volume

Can anyone help?
I`ve installed TomTOM on my Navman 520 and it all works fine, but...
when the battery is completely empty, or after a hard reset Windows CE defaults to a volume setting of about 50% so the sound from TomTom is also at 50% - I can change it to 100% volume each time, but it`s a bit annoying

Is there anyway to change Win CE`s default volume setting so that every time it comes on (even after hard reset) it`s at 100%

Sorry, that can only be changed in ROM.

What you could do is add a little programs to the TomTom folder that does the necessary registry change and then runs TomTom...

Mmmm that sounds like a good idea, but I know nothing about programming and I doubt theres such a program already written - though I`m certainly going to look

In the meantime I`ve added a program to startup which adds a small volume bar to the taskbar, so at least I don`t have to trawl through a load of menus to get to the volume settings as its on the main screen - I guess I can live with that if needbe!
