Buying advice required

I have a Navman iCN520 which is all but redundant now as all the maps are out of date. It would cost me another £100 to update if maps for the iCN were still produced , which they aren't.

I don't want to repeat the same mistake again. can anyone advise me what system I should buy where the maps can be updated to take account of new one way streets for instance, or new roundabouts.

Have a look at the Map Share function which is available with the newer TomTom Maps and most of the older hardware (notice the upgradable path you are missing with your current hardware), this allows you to alter your map, adding roundabouts or changind one way directions etc. I would list the functions you want from the device, and then look at the different devices in the product range - Mike
