No notification after posting new speed camera site

Can you help?

I appear not to have had any follow up notification after my posting of a new camera site which has subsequently been confirmed. I have checked the speed camera map and the site submitted is now listed as a camera.

Is there any way I can get notification sent that this was due to the report I made.

Did you receive an automated email after you had submitted?

If not, there must have been something wrong with the submission.

If you did, you have to be aware that there are usually scores of submissions for every new camera, and only the first to give an accurate submission will get the recognition. This takes the form of free Lifetime Membership, and this is dealt with each time the Database is updated.

So normally up to 2 weeks to wait after the verification.

I have checked your submssion and you weren't the first for that particular camera. However, I note that you are not a subscriber so even if you HAD been first you would not have been awarded a free lifetime membership.

We send out automated replies to every submission that is sent to us or inputted on the map. This confirms we have received the submission.

If your submission qualifies for a lifetime subscription then we upgrade you and email you to let you know. We get a huge number of reports so the simple act of making a submission is no guarantee that yours will be the first and it isn't feasible for us to contact every submitter to tell them they did not qualify.

We award a number of subscriptions every month so all I can suggest is if you don't succeed, keep trying!
