| I have had a TomTom 510 for about 18 months now and for the first time tonight I have noticed a red cross in the top right hand corner of the screen, just to the right of the zoom out button, what the heck does it mean and where did it come from??? |

| That usually means the Traffic information is not available, have you ever used TomTom traffic on the device via RDS or GPRS, if so is the connection still available to the unit - Mike |

| I have only ever used the free trial, I didn't ever subscribe to TomTom traffic. Any ideas on how to get rid of the cross? It's starting to irritate me. |

| I assume the menu structure is similar to the TT one, if so go into the menu scroll to you see the icon TomTom Traffic select it and you should see an icon called Disable Traffic just select it. |
