We have two Pocket PCs, both TCM - Model No MDPPC250. Version 2004 upgraded to a 2005 Navigator 4.3 (by a TCM technician) and Model No MDPNA100 Version 2005 Navigator 4.3. They have both stopped picking up satellite signals within a month or so of each other. Everything else seems to work OK, but now we cannot use the navigating facility.

Can anyone help, please?

Lesley

It may just be co-incidence that both have failed - remote though it may seem.

You have tried using them outside with a clear view of the sky and leaving them for 15+ mins - just in case they are having difficulty getting a sat lock.

I don't know these devices - but is there a screen that shows you sat stats (with things like a 360 map showing sat 'position' and signal strength)? This can be useful to tell if it really can't see anything or it can see them, but is not getting a strong enough signal to do anyting with them.

Install Winfast Navigator.......
Perform a cold start on the GPS and see what happens.
The information provided by this program will guide you better than your current "It's broken" information.
