I have just updtaed my TT 910 to the new V7 and I couldn't believe it when I saw the option to switch off when power is removed. I set it to do this and it also switches the unit on when power is applied.
Prevoius to this I had v6.010 (I think) as this also did what I wanted it to.
All they need to sort out now is a Permanant dock that can be Screwd down as I never take it out of the vehicle, except for updating it.

It's not on show, it is recessed in a compartment in the dash and also covered up when nones in the vehicle.
