I received an email from Gregory Gonedes, Sales Representitve-CoPilot Solutions

The Copilot Live 7 PPC will be shipped out November 7th

Also I wrote: On version 7 coming out, will the TMC traffic information be free to use or is there a charge to use the service?

Copilot responded with: The traffic key code will be a free code with instructions. It is a free code with instructions to give you free traffic, however you need internet to have access.

I just installed Live 7 on my 8525. It has lots of options including free traffic over gprs but you must pay for a data service from your provider.

The only problem is that I cannot set my home address because my address cannot be found on the USA map that came with it.

I emailed ALK tech support and I cannot wait to see the reply.

Just loaded mine after a major struggle. Turned out my Mitac Mio A201 didn't like the supplied micro SD card in its adaptor, copied the files accross to my old 1gb card and it now works fine. ALK are supposed to be coming back to me but I sorted it myself first.

Other than this glitch, am well impressed with the improvement over CP6 plus proper mapping of Ireland at last.
