Streepilot 2820 can't show phonebook

I have a Streetpilot 2820 which links to my Nokia N95 okay. Accepts handsfree incoming calls and displays call history without problems.
However, if I select phonebook on the 2820 it just says 'phonebook entries unavailable. I've tried setting remote SIM mode on on my mobile but this makes no difference.
How can I get the 2820 to display my mobile's phonebook?
