Love the unit but it disconnects from my Blackberry 8300 usually within 2 or 3 minutes. I've tried every add/delete/pairing option possible and today it kept the connection for 2 hours back from Newcastle to Leeds but as soon as I turned off the Nuvi and then turned it on again the connection was dropped within a couple of minutes. The fact that it kept the connection for a couple of hours would suggest it can work properly but it's driving me bonkers!
Any suggestions anyone??

Do you have the latest Bluetooth firmware in your Nuvi? Is your Blackberry on the latest firmware?

Quite often, the problems with dropping connections are either caused by the firmware of the phone being out of date, or a setting problem on the phone. Only rarely is it caused by the Garmin unit.

Thanks swing;
both units have the latest firmware from Garmins web updater and Blackberrys site. It was losing connection all this morning but has now been connected for an hour with no problem! Garmin support have asked me for the 310 sw/firmware versions so I shall await their reply with interest. I thought this may a common fault but that does not seem to be the case.
