setting up p.o.i.s?

sorry about this but i am new to the sat nav program tomtom i am after finding out how i get the poi's onto my tomtom program from start to finish i realise this has probably been covered many times but i am struggling to find any directions on this.any help is gatefully received cheers

To add a POI, select 'MAP' mode and then tap'n'hold on the location you wish to save as a POI. You will then get a pop up menu, select 'Add as point of interest' and on th next page you can either select an existing POI database into which this new POI should be added or create a <new type>.

That's all there is to it. If you created a new database then you could also create a new custom icon for it to replace the default * icon, TTNav expects a 22x22 pixel .bmp file with the same name as the POI database placed in the map folder.
