Hello all,
Im getting a TT720 soonish and selling my 910.
My reason are :
I have scratched my 910 on the screen.
Its too big.
I love the new stuff on the 720.
I have looked into MobilNova an dit looks pretty good, and i believe there uis other software to play movies.
So i have a few questions.
On the 720 how would i store movies/MP3's as on the 910 they would easily go on the HD. On an SD card .... so where are the maps stored ?
What is the quality of Movies like on the 720/910 (MP3s on the 910 are rather good for a unit of that size
And, i spose, is the 720 a decent unit ove ra 910 ??

The 720 employs Flash Memory to store the application and maps that it needs, there is an amount left available for storage of "other" files but I would leave this for the map upgrades, map share, custom icons, POI and ogg files to be honest.
To put media files on the 720 get a good quality SD card and install whatever you want to that, the 720 will pick up the files on the card and use them. I think the current limit on SD card size is 4GB, but hopefully the higher capacity cards will work with the 720 at some future point - Mike |

Cheers for that.
I have got the IMTOO software so can get a DVD down to around 600MB of good quality, so could get at least 3 on a quality 2GB card (for £15 from Play).
I know the screen is .3" bigger than a 910, but is it any better? i had terrible trouble seeing the screen in some lights. |

Hi. Dont bother messing around with Imtoo and 700mbs go and get the Mobilnova it works on the 720. It lets you convert films etc down to much smaller mb watchable sizes so you can have many many films on a 4G card. |
