Can't install TT6 on Mio 168

I'm having a wierd problem with which I hope somebody can help me.

I just decided to upgrade from TT5 to TT6 to get the latest maps. TT5 worked perfectly on my Mio 168 but I can't get 6 to install. When I open TomTom Home it seems to connect to me device but doesn't show my storage card, just internal memory

When I tick any of the things on the install list, I get a not enough free space message at the top of screen, regardless of how small the item is. For example, :

Size of selected items: 32kb
Not enough space. Free 62kb

Does anybody have an idea how I can sort this out?

all you need is "TomTom Navigator.exe" and "data.chk" . Extract these files manually from the installer CAB file and copy them manually to the Pocket PC. Much quicker than the procedure via HOME.
