Select "Navigate to..." then go to the next page and select "Latitude Longitude. Negative longitude values are input as West. The values you posted appear to be on the B3232.

An alternative is to go to the Speed Camera submission page on this site and enter "51.0583517252837, -4.0858400789559601" into the "Find a location" box. This shows that the location is on the B3232, just south of the A39 near the "Roundswell Business Park".

Also, if you use Browse Map, click Find | Latitude Longitude and input the location, (you only need 5 decimal places, N51.05835 W4.08584) and the Map will display that location.

If you then Tap the Cursor Button, next to Find, you can add this to your Favourites, or a Custom POI.

You can then Navigate to ..., Favourite (or POI) without having to put the details in again.

Slightly sideways off-topic but, could someone tell me how to display the coordinates of a favourite.

I was trying to save my position as a favourite so that I could report the location to another person. That is I saved the coordinates through the Add A Favourite option in the menu but I can't see how to extract that information now.

I did search but maybe not with the correct parameters. If there is an obvious way and I've missed it, or an alternative method, apologies but this idiot doesn't get it.

Thanks

In Browse Map, use Find | Favourite to locate it.

Then Tap Options and Tick Coodinates. Tap Done.

The co-ordinates of the Cursor are now displayed at the bottom of the screen. Wink

I remember earlier this year me and a few mates did a friendly flying comp (lcc) and we were given the meet up location in os grid ref.

We spent quite a while faffing around with various gps devices (handheld etc) trying to get the correct location into our tomtoms.

After that mess about, I did a search and found a great util that allows you to input different types of co-ords/ latlongs etc and converts it into a tomtom poi.

I use this on my xda orbit (inbuilt gps) with TT6. works a treat Very Happy
