Adding celebrity voices

Has anyone successfully loaded the free celebrity voices given on the link below ? I added them to the voice folder but they do not show up under the available voices.

Maybe I lost some of your instructions due to editting ??? When I check what is in the voice folder I see the files for the two voices I added (3 files for each) but my TomTom still shows only the two standard voice options.

Do you mean that I should specifically add the three files you mention ? where can I find those ?

You have to load the three files for each voice .chk, .bmp and .vif.

I've never done this before, so I've just tried using Joanna Lumley (data75.chk etc). She worked first try with my GO710, but at first she didn't appear on my GO720. But I did get her to work - when I was asked if I only wanted to have English Voices, I answered NO, then she became available. Presumably, these extra voices are "not English" to the GO720!!!

Ahhhhh........ thanks Dennis that is the problem, by selecting non English voices I now see them. The Cleese voice sounds real !

Joanna Lumley says "Dahhling" and "Sweetie". But a useful curiosity that they aren't English!
