Hello to the Moderator whoever he/she may be.
I just want to check out your policy before proceeding.
You recently & kindly created a new subcategory in the POI download. I have populated this with a number of locations and downloaded the file. The POI subcategory relates to a sport with a very large participation. I want to publicise it's existance to my fellow sportmen & women so that others can download the file and also make submissions to it. I was wanting to circulate your details and the existance of this POI by reporting it to the sport's regulatory body for inclusion in their magazines which are issued to their membership.
I simply intend to tell them about it & how useful it is and where it can be found. I will also make it clear that the file is the property of PocketGPSWorld.Com and that you have copyright over it. I believe it will prove very popular and the spin-off for PocketGPSWorld.Com would be a lot of people visiting your site and hopefully some will go on to subscribe to it when they see how good it is.
Before I contact the official bodies & request them to circulate your details and this POI facility can you please confirm that in so doing I am not infringing any policy you may have and that you don't have a problem with the above? I am anxious not to do the wrong thing
Thanks

So, to clarify, you simply want to tell people about PocketGPSWorld.com and the POI files so people can come here to download them? if so then go for it - not a problem.

Hi MaFt
In a nutshell, yes. Your details and the POI will appear in our sport's magazines. After that it's up to individuals to log in and download the file and make submissions. Thanks.

daddyslaphead,
When submitting POIs please can you delete the spaces in the phone numbers. You already use the +44 format which is just what I want Although most systems will accept spaces in the phone numbers we have elected to store them without spaces and other separators.

Hello Richard,
OK, no problem - numbers without spaces it will be. I think I did enter some without a space but I must have forgotten the format I was using. BTW I got a very positive response from one of our magazines who I think are now going submit additional data to you and write an article on this.
Thanks again
