i have got GO700 with a uk map v660 with poi in it but loaded POIs for fuel stations from youre site in map folder they work ok but it also comes up with preinstalled as well how do i get rid of the preinstalled ones they are not selected in the list

Can you not just ignore them? If they are not Enabled they won't appear on the Map.

There shouldn't be any confusion, as the built-in version is called Petrol station, and the PGPSW one is called Fuel.

All the built-in POIs are collected into the file poi.dat

You need to disable them in two places...
You can stop them showing on Browse Map either in the preferences or in browse map/options/POI
but to stop them showing up as you navigate you will need to remove them from the "warn when near" list as well (Preferences/manage POI/warn when near)
