Apart from losing its way ocassionally, my GO720 works well, except it locks up from time to time when used in handsfree mode with my bluetooth attached Sony Ericson K610i phone - in the middle of a call, the last .25 seconds of recieved voice is repeated in a loop, and everything else freezes, I have to hold the power off button for around 10 seconds before it powers off. Ok after power on, but once it lost the destination.

Anyone else experienced anything similar?

I did, once, with one of my previous 720s which went back for refund - with the hands free buzz problem and other faults.

Today I had the new one stop doing sound for a moment with a call - I called somebody and when they answered I got nothing more. I tried ringing again, but no sound. So I went to switch it off and it hung for a long time on the sign-off screen, then rebooted all by itself and behaved perfectly.

Sounds similar symptoms... is yours a K610i or other phone?

Nokia 6230i - I get all the functions which other people would like to have. In fact, I've upgraded twice, each time merely getting a new 6230i in order to maintain those functions with all the GOs I've had.

I rather think my problem was just one of those moments (I have them myself, so a mere dumb machine is allowed a few).

I've got both these symptoms on my 520.

Symptoms do not seem phone specific as I've used an SE W800, W850 and Nok 6233.

I've concluded its a software/firmware issue as its random and I'm just waiting for the next update.

Theres someone else with the same problem(s) here:
