losing voices tomtom 6

Hi, found the collected file in voice in program files on device. deleted re load tt and got voices back. BUT!! the next time I turn tt on voices gone again! Every time I do this the same happens any ideas?

Pretty certain it should be in Voices folder on storage card, when you first installed did you install to device and not storage card, perhaps a reinstall might help ensuring you install to storage car?

Do you have any voices in program folder if so this could be problem ?

if so could be memory limitations in device, try adjusting to see if any change

I always install both nav and today to storage card. Voices are in a file on there own like... raster, schemes, itn, GBmap.... etc. Driving me mad!

tried adding ozzy voice from that site, but still doesnt find that!

The only way I can see is doing a device reset, this worked for me until it resolved, its a pain i know but it clears the ini file

I'll try that. If I want to add some poi into my tt could you advise me where I put them? Ive had them downloaded for a while but not sure how to put them on!

POIs go into the map folder, bear in mind that you can only have a max of 100 in ttn6 and 39 in ttn5, also note the following points:
1) Each poi consists of a .ov2 and a .bmp file both with the same name
2) If you combine POIs this counts as one poi
3) If downloading a combined category make sure you use link and only download max of 22 combined sub categoeries to overcome the problems with the database
4) If you have more than one map installed you need a set for each map folder
5) Dont forget you have to unzip them before copying them to map folder

Going back to the voice problem after loading ttn6 if you then go into change preferences then change voices, if voices are installed you should see picture of voice character if not it will be greyed out, i presume you have selected Ozzie ? hope this helps

THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HELP, GOOD OF YOU. I FOUND OZZIE WITH NO PICTURE AND I HAVE FOR NOW GOT THE UK WOMAN AGAIN! BEEN AT IT ALL NIGHT! aLSO MANAGED TO LOAD ALL POI I NEED. I SEE WHAT YOU MEAN ABOUT DOWNLOADING THEM AS A GROUP OR SEPERATE. I'M LEARNING!
