when i opened up the latest updates i used xl(doh)now i need to return the files to asc but cant seem to find how to do it.

Unless you saved the files again using xl then things won't have changed.
However unless your subscriptions has expired just download the files again and start from scratch. Your subscrition does allow continuous downloads for the duration.
