[b]TomTom One XL - Internal Memory[/b]

I have a TT One XL (supplied with TT on SD Card) How do I transfer all to the Internal Memory. I have tried to do the update to version 7.120 on the SD Card (After doing a Backup) and the Device keeps locking up at the Startup Screen. I have E Mailed TT with out any response. Thanks

Firstly, only do one thing at a time.
Get it to a state where it is working on the SD card (although I thought the One XL is supplied with the system and maps already on the internal memory?)

Then by connecting up to a PC, you should see both as two new drives. Set Windows Explorer to show extensions and hidden files (Tools/Folder options/view tab) and copy everything across. Wait till it's finished and then use "safely remove hardware" in the bottom right of the PC screen before you unplug.

To check it works, you will need to remove the SD card and then switch on the One, otherwise it will try to boot from the SD card first.

The One XL Europe version uses 1GB of internal flash memory and is also supplied with a vacant SD card slot on the base, the regional device is supplied with the application and map installed to an SD card that is fitted in the slot on the base. Which device do you have Euro or regional - Mike
