sysonchip cf plus / ipaq 2210

Hi! I'm new to this gps stuff and I seem to have the same problem as the chap with the dell axim x5. Everything seemed to work perfectly until I changed the output to sirf using the sysonchip supplied software. Now all that happens is that the gps light comes on but it does not seem to be communicating with TOMTOM 2.24. I have tried everything but I still don't get any little dots moving on the TOMTOM gps screen. Have all the GPS satelites gone to sleep on me? Heeeeelp!!!

have you switched to SiRF AND changed speeds at the same time?
