If I set my cruise control to 70 mph and drive along flat straight motorway for mile after mile my TT2 speed reading is 67 mph.

Should I trust the TT2 or my speedo?

Trust the GPS speed - these are accurate to about 0.1 mph; speedos in European cars are set to read high by a few mph - it's an EU directive. This has come up before on this forum, I posted a link to the relevant directive then and can't be bothered to search for it now Mr. Green

MMMMMM and all the time I presumed that it had something to do with the time it takes to update the info from the sats.

On a similar theme I also noticed that as well as showing a slower speed my TT2 is reading short by about 10 - 15 yards is this a common fault I wonder.

I've noticed that sometimes I have pin point accuracy (judged by say the 100yd markings before roundabouts) and some times not. I've guessed that this might be something to do with 'inertia' built into the software, so that if you brake hard, then TT2 assumes you're further on than you really are.

I've noticed a similar effect when you turn off the road that TT2 recommends. For a few seconds it assumes that you are on the road it thinks you should be
