iPAQ nav system

i have an Ipaq navigation system purchased complete from pc world approx 18 months ago it consists of compact 3850 hand held + navman gps sleeve etc the software for the gps is co-pilot version 3.my problem is that when purchased pc world told me that to obtain maps other than the uk would be easy i have been to pcw to get europe maps but they are not interested contacted navman not interested contacted compaq not interested please can someone help with a solution that does not cost the earth
ps i am not to clued up on hand helds and gps and eldrely with senior moments

If you want to continue to use CoPilot then you will have to upgrade to version 4 (they also have european maps). Otherwise you can also purchase any of the other navigation programs that are currently on the market (like TomTom or Destinator or Mapopolis etc). They can all work with your hardware. You'll have to define your price range though...
