Hi, Please can you help, is there a limit to how many pois i can store on my 720, i loaded over 150 and some were shown on the unit and some was'nt, but when i connected to home and explored my device they were all there, i used to own a 910 and i could store loads of pois, if its the memory of the 720 thats the problem, would it be possible to load the pois to the mem card as i have a 1gig one in the unit
Thanks

You can load as many as you like (within the constraints of memory space), BUT the limit you can use is 100 and that applied to the 910 too. Go over the limit and you lose the activation of them, not necessarily the last 50, might be any 50.
Yes, you could store them on the memory card, but to be used, they have to be in the map folder, so there's not much point in having them on the card (except for if you want to make it a little easier swapping some around).
Perhaps you need to reconsider your POIs? Obviously, I don't know what you've got, but if you use them from this site, consider having sets which are not separated. For example, if you have petrol stations separately identified (Shell, BP, Esso, etc), consider having just one POI of them all in one - they'll retain their identities, but not their individual icons - you'll just get one icon for petrol stations. Same sort of idea applies to supermarkets, ATMs, etc. _________________ Dennis
