Can someone please point me to a full list of the word commands that the go 720 recognises. Does it recognise OK or Back or the commands that are on the screen.

Mine's gone back, so I can't help too much.

It recognises OK and Back - I sometimes had to get fierce and shout at it to make it recognise them. It occasionally accepted NO instead of Back. But at that stage, you are often supposed to say One or Two or Three etc (to select the city/street as per the numbered list it shows), so I suppose anything other than One, Two etc might give it an excuse to go back. When it got the house numbers wrong, I got really mad at it and shouted No and Back. I think it was just beginning to understand I can be firm, when I had to send it back, faulty. That is a big hole in the Manual - I read all 84 pages to find those commands, but never a word could I find. I did notice that the red mouth seemed to turn green briefly when it was listening.

Thanks Dennis It also seems to take notice if you say select 1 or select 2 when chooseing from the lists of towns etc, it may be only recognising the 1 or 2 i'm not sure. I can't get it to react to back or OK every time, constantly repeating them sometimes get a result.
Perhaps a note to tomtom is in order here, or do they read these posts.
I only bought the 720 because of its voice command function, it's very poor especially if there is background noise.

I think the mic on mine has died, it doesn't respond to voice commands, it doesn't respond to "record your voice" and when I tried a handsfree call I had to really REALLY shout. That was the last time the mic actually did anything...

Back to work tomorrow, swappy swappy...
