I've managed to get my 720 talking to my XDA orbit, the functions seem to work, but on the first call I recieved the phone lost connection after atime with the 720 and also the volume on the 720 seemed low compared to the normal direction.
Are these common problems and are there any fixes? |

The volume for the hands free call is separate from the volume for directions. My directions volume is set at 85% (via preferences) but if you tap the "repeat last direction" part of the screen during a hands free call, it'll show you the volume setting for the hands free call. I was having a problem hearing a caller once. Later, when stationary, I called them back and looked at the volume which was only 70% - changed it to 85% and now hands free calls are at the same volume as the directions.
Hope that helps,

I have also found that the closer your TT and phone are to each other the better the quality of the call. Not sure if there is any science in this !! |
